After a relationship has ended, especially a bad one, we don't realize all the damage that has occurred, such as losing trust in yourself and your decision-making skills. This was very much true for me. After my previous relationship, I no longer felt like I could trust myself to have my best interest at heart when making decisions. I feared that I would make decisions out of fear, desperation, and lack of love for myself. Feared that I would make another poor decision lasting another 8 years and resulting in more pain. But thankfully, that lack of trust won't last forever. Eventually, you will be able to rebuild trust and confidence that will help you make better decisions that benefit yourself because you love and respect yourself more.
